You must be a Northern California Society of Botanical Artists member. Only one entry per member is allowed. Exhibit entrants are required to gallery sit for this exhibit. Those exhibit entrants who are unable to gallery sit will pay a $50 fee. Artwork submitted may not be in the UCBG Florilegium nor have been in previous Plants Illustrated Exhibits.

You must submit a "professional quality" high resolution image 300 dpi in jpg format, with image being no larger than 8" x 10". File size may not exceed 4 MB. Please use the following naming convention when naming your file: Last Name - Title of Artwork.jpg (example: Williams-BirdOfParadise.jpg)

Note: No artwork belonging to the UCBG Florilegium may be submitted.

Every year the Garden selects several pieces of art to be used for note cards to sell in the Garden Shop. Preference is given to pieces featuring plants held in the Garden's collection as well as plants that are species or a wild derived cultivar. Black and white images will not be used. All proceeds from the card sales benefit the Garden but the artist and exhibition receive credit on the card. Other images may be used for publicity on the Garden's website.
